This is the time of year when temperatures and leaves are falling, ghosts and goblins are being seen through out the neighborhoods, and we are starting to realize that the holidays will soon be on us again.  So soon?  Oh well, things are moving right along.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday school has been going well as far as curriculum is concerned.  Heroes of the Bible is going very well, and everybody is having a good time and learning something each and every week.

Our schedule for the month of November is as follows:

·        11/2   William Tyndale, a bible for the People

·        11/9   William Tyndale (printing press/craft)

·        11/16 John Wesley, God’s Messenger on Horseback

·        11/23 Johann Sebastian Bach Most of all, Praise

·        11/30 Johann Sebastian Bach (continuation/recital) musicians

The problem we are having is attendance.  Our attendance has been between 3 and 6 children per Sunday.  We have discussed and brainstormed about this problem and would like your input.  If you have any ideas about how we might increase interest and attendance, please let us know.  Feel free to call me or talk to me on Sunday or put a note in my box.  Any and all suggestions will be given consideration.  THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

NOTE

We are looking at the possibility of repeating last year's puppet show on or about November 30th.  Please keep this on your calendar and we will finalize it as soon as possible.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.
