It’s time to be thinking about next year’s Secret Pal program, open to both men and women.  This is a fun way to get to know each other better and to give and receive small remembrances throughout the year.  If you’ve never “played,” we encourage you to do so.  There is much joy in both the giving and the receiving.  We could use more participants, especially men, so that there is a larger pool from which to draw.  We would like all those who plan to participate in 2009, to fill out the form and turn it in by the Reveal Party on Dec. 7.  That way we can draw a name and have our pal’s information to begin using in Jan.  There will be forms on the CL bulletin board, one is in this Satellite, and we plan to have it available on the St. Paul’s website also.  If you wish to turn them in early, you may put them in the Congregational Life box in the church office.  Details about the Reveal Party follow.

On Dec. 7th, following service, we will gather in the library for our Secret Pal Reveal Party.  Current participants should bring a snack to share, a Christmas gift for their Pal, and a small thank you gift for the person who has been remembering them all year long.  If you didn’t “play” this year, but want to join the fun for 2009, you may bring your form and draw a name for next year.  If you have any questions about the party or program, contact Maribeth or Bob Ocock, Secret Pal coordinators.

Yours in Christian fellowship,

Dianne Marshall
